PECKS MILL, W.Va. — Mr. Jerry Dale Green, 41, of Pecks Mill, departed this life Friday, October 23, 2009, at CAMC General Hospital due to injuries received in a motorcycle accident.

Born March 1, 1968, in Logan, he was a son of Della Green and the late Robert Green. Also preceding him in death was one sister, Dicie Green; two brothers, Donald and Robert Green, and his grandparents, Tom and Dicie Wiley and Jay and Grace Green.

Jerry enjoyed 4-wheeling, hunting, horseback riding and spending time with his children.

Additionally, those left to cherish his memory include one daughter, Tiffany Green; one son, Jeremy Green; two sisters, Dollie (Eric) Adams and Esta Ferrell; five brothers, George (Arbutus) Green, Raymond (Mary) Green, David (Sherry) Green, James Green and Charles (Patricia) Green, and host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, October 26, at the Freeman Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill.

Pallbearers will be Leroy DeHart, Bryan Green, Donnie Green, Petie Green, Steve Green, Chad Green, Christopher Green, Jerry DeHart, David Green Jr., Danny Joe Green and Donald Green.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Mike Ferrell, Eric Adams, Doug Wiley, Dallas Wiley Jr., Gil Mister, Chipper Rambo and Donnie Bowen.

Visitation will begin after 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
