When the Tug Valley High School volleyball team recently celebrated its senior night festivities during a tri-match with Logan and Sissonville, the administration and coaches also honored both Logan’s and Sissonville’s seniors by calling each senior player out to the court to present them with a rose.

It was a rare show of sportsmanship between rival athletics programs.

Then Logan High Lady Wildcats volleyball team returned the favor earlier this week by honoring Tug Valley’s senior players during the LHS senior night.

We were pleased to see Logan honor Tug’s seniors oncourt at the Logan Memorial Fieldhouse.

Most teams just honor their own seniors. But, both teams are class acts and proved that by sharing the spotlight with their opponent’s seniors.

We’re glad that both teams have such great sportsmanship. We applaud both teams for being so courteous and for being good examples to other schools and teams. Good work, Logan and Tug Valley!
