MT. GAY — Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College's Dental Hygiene Clinic located at the Logan Regional Medical Life Services Center at Holden is offering free basic dental hygiene services.

Clinic hours are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. until noon and 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Dental Hygiene Coordinator Dr. Lisa Haddox-Heston said in order to receive free services, patients will need to complete a few forms. Dental work may be completed the same day or by appointment, depending on the patient's needs.

Free services include: complete exams, cleanings, x-rays as indicated, fluoride treatments, pit and fissure sealants as indicated and referrals for any needed dental work. These services would cost hundreds of dollars in a private practice.

Starting in January, patients will be seen on Mondays and Tuesdays during the same hours.

For more information call the clinic at (304) 239-3137 during business hours or contact Angie at 304-896-7326.
