YOLYN, W.Va. — Mr. Charles Ray “David” Milon, 56, of Yolyn, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, November 2, 2009.
Born July 2, 1953, in Orville, he was a son of the late Sam and Betty Christian Milon.
David’s favorite hobbies were cooking, baking and playing music. He loved to sing in church and write music. An employee with PRIDE of Logan County for 17 years, he also loved cooking for the senior citizens.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving sisters, Barbara (Rick) Danish of Yolyn, with whom he made his home, and Tammy Farley of Sarah Ann; three brothers, Orville (Janie) Christian of Yolyn, and Dennie (Sue) Milon and Jimmy (Joanne) Milon, both of Indiana; a host of nieces and nephews; three aunts and one uncle.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, November 9, at the Orville Holiness Church at Rum Creek with Pastor Walter Hawkins and Rev. Robert Hawkins officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill.
Pallbearers will be his friends.
