LOGAN, W.Va. — Kathy Sansom, 52, of Logan, passed away Monday, November 9, 2009, at Logan Regional Medical Center.

Born March 1, 1957 at Man, she was a daughter of Florence Farley Johnson of Man and Willis Sansom. Preceding her in death was Rickie Samson of Man.

Kathy attended Kistler Freewill Baptist Church and enjoyed going to the library in Man to read and attend Prayer Club.

Survivors include Charles Dickie Samson of Flint, Mich., Cecil Sam (Janice) Samson of Kansas, Carmelita (Kenny) Osborne of Thurmond, Ohio, Alta "Suzie" (Norman) Adkins of New York, Patricia Oneal of Oceana, Hope Johnson of Columbia, S.C., Tammy (Myron) Pieschel of Wisconsin, Christopher "Buddy" (Marla) Johnson of Man and Teddy (Lena) Samson of Mallory, and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, November 13, at the James Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ted Sansom officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill.

Her brothers and other family members will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be from noon until time of services Friday at the funeral home.
