The No. 2-ranked Man High School Hillbillies football team topped Fayetteville in a tough battle Friday night and that win brought them one step closer to their ultimate goal -- winning a state football championship.

We know the playoffs just keep getting tougher and tougher but the Man Hillbillies are a very tough team and we believe that they can and will bring home the gold this year.

This Saturday night, the Man football team will host No. 3 Richwood in the third round of the Class A football playoffs, and we know the Billies can get another win. They defeated Fayetteville for a second time and we know they can beat Richwood, too.

We wish the Man Hillbillies football team the best of luck in this weekend’s game and we hope they continue their climb to the top where we know they can win the Class A state championship game in Wheeling. We believe the Hillbillies will bring home the gold this year!
