The No. 2-ranked Man High School Hillbillies football team defeated Richwood in a tough contest Saturday night and that win has earned them a spot in Saturday night’s Class A state championship game.

It’s the first time in more than two decades that the Man football team has been in a title match and we are so proud of the Hillbillies! They have played their hardest all season long and they deserve to be the team going for the gold.

This Saturday night, the Man football team will travel to Wheeling Island Stadium in Wheeling where they will play Madonna for the state championship. The Hillbillies beat Richwood and have made it this far and we know they won’t quit until they’ve brought home the title.

We wish the Man Hillbillies football team the best of luck in this weekend’s game and we hope they win the Class A state championship trophy! We believe in you, Man High Hillbillies, so go to Wheeling and play your best and bring home the championship!
