In honor of Veterans Day, the Hemlock Hills Garden Club and area veterans met at the Blue Star Memorial Highway Marker on Wednesday, November 11, at Rt. 10 at Man. This marker honors all veterans. Veterans Butch Cobb, Walter Hawkins, Ted Tilley, and Vinson Willis placed American flags around the marker. Participating in the ceremony were club members Laura Hinchman, Esther Hinchman, Bertha Allen, Patty Roach, Jane Grimmette, Wanda Grimmette, Gertie Moore and Patsy Tilley along with the veterans and members of their families.
