BIG UGLY — Big Ugly Community Center (BUCC) will host its second Family Movie Night this evening with a showing of The Chronicles of Narina: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe.

The event will begin at 6 p.m. and wrap up just after 8 p.m. in the community center gym where the movie will be projected onto a big screen. The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe was released in 2005. It is the story of four brothers and sisters who find the hidden world of Narnia where they must face up to an evil witch who has turned Narnia into constant winter.

In the spirit of the holidays, Giovanni’s of Chapmanville has agreed to provide pizzas for the event so families can come for dinner and see a movie, all free of charge. Also, BUCC will be raffling off a brand new set of The Chronicles of Narnia books by C.S. Lewis and at the end of the night there will be loaves of bread donated by Panera for guests to take home and enjoy.

Family Movie Nights are going to be a regular monthly event at the community center usually falling on the second Thursday of every month, pending bad weather. Keep an eye out for more details about movies to be shown in the coming months.
