WE CAN toy drive at Forest Lawn

Ellen Browning and Lajeana Aldredge, posed beneath the Memory Tree at Forest Lawn, have been making plans for Forest Lawn's annual WE CAN toy drive. Donations to the drive can be dropped off at Forest Lawn during their annual Candlelighting Ceremony to be held this evening. Volunteers who wish to help light candles can arrive at 3 p.m. The ceremony will begin at 7 p.m. Pictured, from left, is Aldredge, who is holding Grace, and Browning. Members of the Working to Eliminate Child Abuse and Neglect organization were also working hard this week to prepare for their annual Christmas party for at risk children. According to Diana Barnett, WE CAN will have their regular Christmas Party on Dec. 12 and were needing help on Thursday and Friday to wrap presents. Photo/Martha Sparks
