Police make several arrests

• Loretta Rauze Corns, 39, of Whitman, was arrested in by Logan City Patrolman J.L. Sheppard for four counts of possession of a controlled substance on Dec. 9.
Corns was booked at the Southwestern Regional Jail at Holden at 5:30 a.m.
• Joshua Aaron Ison, 30, of Logan, was arrested by Logan City Police officers J.L. Sheppard and Aaron Newsome for shoplifting, public intoxication and possession of a controlled substance on Dec. 5.
Newsome was booked at the regional jail at 9:40 p.m.
• Sabrina L. Burgess, 29, of Stollings, was arrested by Logan City Patrolman Aaron Newsome of the Logan PD for shoplifting on Nov. 21.
Burgess was booked at the regional jail at 9:02 p.m.
• Joshua Daniel Marian, 22, of Aflex, Ky., was arrested in Logan County by West Virginia State Police Trooper E.B. McClung for uttering (prescription fraud) and conspiracy on Nov. 18.
Marian was booked at the regional jail at 7:52 p.m.
