Born April 4, 1982, at Albuquerque, N.M., he was a son of Robert and Mary E. Sanborn Shelton of Duncan Fork.
Dwight was employed by Krogers of Logan and attended the Duncan Fork House of Prayer.
Additional survivors include his wife, Candace Brewer Shelton; sister, Page Christine Shelton of Duncan Fork; aunt, Sharon Heerdt, and uncle, Andy Shelton. He will be sadly missed by many extended family members and friends.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 19, at the Duncan Fork United Baptist Church with the Rev. Roger Ooten officiating. Burial will follow in the Shelton Family Cemetery at Duncan Fork.
Pallbearers will be friends and family.
Visitation will begin after 6 p.m. Friday at the church where services will begin at 7 p.m.
