• Timothy Wayne Moss, 46, of Mallory, was arrested by members of the U.S. 119 Drug and Violent Crime Task Force on Dec. 14 for three counts of delivery of a controlled substance.
According to multiple police reports, on Aug. 11, 15 and 28, Moss allegedly sold marijuana to confidential informants.
A warrant was issued for his arrest and he was taken into custody and was booked at the Southwestern Regional Jail at Holden at 5:15 p.m. on $15,000 bond.
• Sonja Renee Napier, 38, of Monaville, was arrested in Logan County by City of Logan Police Sgt. D.A. White and Patrolman Aaron Newsome for possession with intent to deliver, possession of marijuana and DUI on Dec. 3.
According to police reports, on Dec. 3, the officers responded to a call from McDonalds about a female who was allegedly passed out in the drive-through lanes. The officers then found the vehicle running and occupied by Sonja Napier and turned the vehicle off.
"The officers gave several verbal commands in an attempt to awaken the driver," the report states.
"Officers also observed a white, powdery substance around the left nostril of the defendant's nose. After getting the driver awake, officers asked her to exit the vehicle, which she did very unsteadily. The defendant admitted to the officers as to snorting two xanax pills."
Napier reportedly failed field sobriety tests and was placed under arrest when the officers did a search of the vehicle and allegedly found a clear plastic baggie on the dashboard containing a green leafy substance believed to be marijuana. Officers also allegedly found pill bottles and cash.
She was booked at the regional jail at 5:35 a.m.
• Larry Gene Baker, 44, of Logan, was arrested in Logan by Sgt. White and Patrolman Newsome for conspiracy and possession of a controlled substance on Oct. 16.
• Bruce Henry Ketchersid, 49, of Dingess, was arrested in Logan County by West Virginia State Police Trooper R.L. Frye of the WVSP for possession of a controlled substance and public intoxication.
He was booked at the regional jail at 3:30 p.m.
• Chad Surgoine, 29, of Chapmanville, was arrested in Logan County by WVSP troopers J.D. Hensley and J.T. Robinson for possession of a controlled substance and domestic assault on Nov. 21.
He was booked at the regional jail at 2:23 a.m.
• Carmella Toler, age not listed, of Man, was arrested in Logan County by Sgt. D.W. Walls of the Man Police Department for possession of a controlled substance and obstructing an officer on Oct. 26.
