Logan Police Chief E.K. Harper said police arrested Odessa Dingess of Rocky Branch Road in Chapmanville and charged her with lying to a federal officer and obstructing a federal investigation.
Police first arrested Brian Corbett and charged him with the bank robbery, which happened Dec. 8 around 2:45 p.m.
Corbett is the main suspect in the armed robbery of the Boone County Banks Logan branch robbery. The robber allegedly got away with $33,000 in cash and escaped by blending in with Logan High School students as they were dismissed from school. The robber allegedly got onto a school bus with students and the bus driver brought him back to Logan High School when she discovered he was not a LHS student. From there, the robbery escaped across the bridge near the Logan Emergency Ambulance Service Authority offices.
Harper said both Corbett and Dingess had a detention hearing on Thursday and both were denied bond.
"We believe she was involved," Harper said. "We also think there's another person involved."
Reportedly, about $5,000 of the stolen money has been recovered, along with other items allegedly connected to the robbery.
Harper and his son, West Virginia State Police Cpl. Stuart Harper, arrested Corbett after he allegedly left a Kanawha County strip bar in Jefferson.
