Local law enforcement officers have been kept busy recently making several arrests.

• Johnny R. Stewart, 38, of Clothier, was arrested in Logan County by West Virginia State Police Trooper P.J. Dick for second degree sexual assault on Dec. 21.

He was booked at the Southwestern Regional Jail at 5:10 p.m.

• Thomas Allen Miller, 33, of Sharples, was arrested in Logan County by WVSP Trooper T.D. Boggs for failing to register as a sex offender on Dec. 21.

He was booked at the regional jail at 4:20 p.m.

• Anna Marie Birchfield, 30, of Holden, was arrested in Logan County by Logan County Sheriff’s deputies N.M. Booth and Brian Cobb for malicious wounding and domestic assault on Nov. 28.

She was reportedly released on bond.

• Charles Franklin Lambert, 46, of Blair, was arrested in Logan County by WVSP Trooper C.D. Kuhn for illegal deer kill, unlawful hunting, unlawful transport of wildlife, failure to yield for an emergency vehicle and obstructing an officer on Nov. 27.

Charles Franklin Lambert was booked at the Southwestern Regional Jail at Holden at 1:30 a.m.

• Charles Aaron Lambert, 20, of Blair, was arrested by WVSP Trooper Kuhn on Nov. 27 for illegal deer kill, hunting without a license, hunting on posted land, unlawful transport of wildlife and obstructing an officer.

Charles Aaron Lambert was booked at the regional jail at 1:37 a.m.
