MAN, W.Va. — Jewel Ann Hurley, 83, of Man, joined her loving husband, Acey, in their heavenly home on Tuesday, January 5, 2010, from the Emogene Dolin Hospice House of Huntington.

Born November 28, 1926, at Rita, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Norma Dean Frazier. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Acey Hurley; three brothers, Willis, Edward and James Frazier; and one sister, Jean Steele.

Jewel was a long time operator of the West Virginia Supermarket in Man. Her spare time was spent being a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Those left to cherish her memory include one daughter, Beverly (Dale) Brown of Huntington, one granddaughter, Wendy (Kevin) Maynard, and two great-grandchildren, J.D. Berry and Jordan Maynard, all of Huntington, and two sisters, Ruby Boyd of Westerville, Ohio, and Hazel Childers of Altus, Okla.

Visitation will be held from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, January 9, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man. No further services will be conducted at her request.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Hospice of Huntington, 1101 Sixth Avenue, Huntington, WV 25701.
