Born January 28, 1967, at Man, he was a son of the late Millard Ferguson and Amy Arlene Daniels Johnson. Also preceding him in death was one brother, Richard Johnson; two sisters, Debbie Johnson and Alice Johnson, and one niece, Sharon Johnson.
Junior was a disabled carpenter, formerly employed with Eddie Ellis Construction. He enjoyed fishing, 4-wheeling, riding horses, hunting and playing pool and poker.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 10 years, Teresa Michelle Blevins Johnson; four children, Amy (James Bower) Johnson of Oceana, Junior Franklin Johnson II of Mill Creek, Brad Scott Johnson of San Diego, Calif., and Rebecca Ann (Eric) Evans of Man; two step-children, Candace Michelle Elkins and Crystal Dawn Parker, both of Lorado; four sisters, Joyce Ann (Frank) Workman and Shelia Conn, both of Beckley, and Pamela (Ronald) Workman and Judy (Billy) Adkins, both of Cyclone; one brother, Gary (Jenny) Johnson of Yanceyville, N.C.; six grandchildren, Rayanna Bower and Alyssa Johnson, both of Oceana, Eric Evans Jr. and Hunter Evans, both of Man, and Austin Edward Elkins and Devan Allen Elkins, both of Lorado; one aunt, Matilda Daniels of Beckley; three uncles, Herman Johnson and Roger Johnson, both of Chapmanville, and Clinton Johnson of North Carolina; many nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 13, at the Saunders Memorial Freewill Baptist Church at Lorado with Rev. Jimmy Belcher officiating. Burial will follow in Daniels Cemetery at Curtis.
Pallbearers will be nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. today and one hour prior to services Wednesday at the church.
