According to a West Virginia State Police spokesperson, there were no injuries in either crash and no major property damage.
The first crash happened near the Route 10 bridge near Ellis Supply and involved two vehicles and a second happened on Route 16 near Man Middle School at Buffalo Creek and also involved two vehicles.
The two crashes were unrelated.
The West Virginia State Police investigated both crashes.
A report on WVOW Radio this morning said slick roads may have contributed to the crashes.
However, the radio report by Bill France said a Logan County Schools bus may have been involved in a third crash with another vehicle on Route 10, but Logan County Schools Assistant Superintendent Jim Guy said that report was untrue.
“There hasn’t been any crash involving a school bus this morning,” Guy said in a phone interview from the Logan County School Board office in West Logan.
