Born November 29, 1924, in Logan, she was a daughter of the late Ked and Anna Mills of Logan. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Edward P. Elkins Sr. and two children, Katrina Elkins and Edward P. Elkins Jr.
Mrs. Elkins was a member of Highlawn Presbyterian Church and was retired from Stone and Thomas.
Survivors include two sisters, Hazel Kinser of Mechanicsville, Va., and Barbara Brewer of Hereford, Arizona; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 16, at the Beard Mortuary. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Peck’s Mill.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today at the mortuary.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Huntington.
