The Man Middle School girls’ basketball team fell to 6-2 on the season with a 34-32 loss to Madison on Tuesday night.

The Lady Pioneers were led in scoring by Kyra Cline’s 12 points. Morgan Conn followed with 10 points, while Mika McCoy had six. Tessa Mullins and Summer Combs each had two points.

Man was just 6-of-19 from the free throw line.

“Our foul shooting is really hurting us right now,” Man coach Orlando Washington said. “Going 4-for-14 from the foul line in the second half was devastating. If we want to when game like this we have to start making our foul shots.”

MMS is back in action on Wednesday as they travel to Harts. The girls start at 6 p.m. with the boys’ game to follow.
