Each year the governor's "Living the Dream" award is presented to those who have demonstrated principals or ideals espoused by the late civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr., who became a legendary icon in his pursuit of social change. This year, Logan County resident Joan Hairston was honored. Hairston was honored Sunday at the West Virginia Culture Center on the State Capitol Campus in Charleston. Photo/Mike Keller.
