On Saturday, December 12, West Virginia State Treasurer John Perdue, right, and Logan County Commission President Art Kirkendoll collected donations at Chief Logan State Park for the Christmas in the Park program. Logan County Board of Education President Phyllis Adkins, who oversees the collections process for the Christmas in the Park program, was very excited to announce that the December 12th campaign set a record for one night collections. Also participating were Treasurer's office employees, Alvis Porter II, Brian Kirkendoll, Tom Lange and Connie Evans, as well as former Logan County Clerk Leonard Hovis. Photo/Submitted
