10 years old — Celebrating her tenth birthday on February 12, 2010, will be Ariel Marie Kestel. Ariel is the daughter of Matthew Aaron and Julia Mae Thompson Kestel of Canton, Ohio. She is the granddaughter of Gary and Paula Kestel of Canton and John and Edna Thompson of Harts. Ariel is a member of the Perry Soccer Team in Canton and a fourth grade honor student at Reedurban Elementary School. She attends the Massillon Church of Christ.

Introducing — Aydin Mason Toler was born November 13, 2009, at Logan Regional. Aydin is the son of Robin Toler and Jeremy Walls of Davin. He is the grandson of James Toler and Danny and Wanda Walls, all of Davin, and Jurai Toler of Sanford, N.C., and the great-grandson of Jerry Wyland of Las Vegas, Nev., Anna Mae Toler and Bonnie Collins, both of Davin, and Betty Walls of Claypool.

90th birthday celebration — Imogene Whetsell will celebrate her 90th birthday on February 10, 2010, with a "birthday card shower" at her current home in Topeka, Kansas. Cards may be sent to: 230 SW Yorkshire Rd., Topeka, Kansas 66606. Mrs. Whetsell was formerly of Gilman's Bottom in Davin and a member of the Greenbranch Freewill Baptist Church. She was married to the late Robert Whetsell of Davin. She has three children: Stan Greer of Springfield, Mo.; Rose Greer Mooneyham of Topeka, Kan.; and Jerry Ramey of Norton, Va.

Eight years old — Kayla Marie Clark, the daughter of Timmy and Donna Clark of Amherstdale, celebrated her eighth birthday at South Man Grade School with a Camp Rock themed party. Family and friends attended the Saturday, October 11, 2009, celebration. Kayla is the granddaughter of Ina Clark of Lundale, the late Leon Clark and Bob and Beverly Woods of Davin.
