KANAWHA CITY — Gasoline prices have fallen to $2.63 a gallon in Kanawha City just outside Charleston, while remaining at $2.79 at several stations in Logan County.

Gas prices fell earlier this week to $2.72 at stations in Danville and in Chapmanville, but many stations throughout Logan and Mingo counties are still selling regular unleaded gasoline for $2.79 a gallon.

In Pikeville, Ky., last week, gas fell to $2.55 a gallon as oil prices continued to fall.

At least two stations in the Danville area in Boone County still had gas at $2.79 this morning. In Williamson and South Williamson, Ky., gas has been $2.69 for several weeks.
