After a rough start, the Lions turned their season around through hard work and determination and it has all paid off.
We know the Gilbert faithful will follow the Lions to Charleston next week as they compete for a state title.
And good job, Man Hillbillies, for such a great season. We know it ended a little early, but you still took the No. 1-ranked team in West Virginia down to the wire and your incredible effort made us proud!
Both of these teams have played their hearts out night after night and have been great representatives of the coalfield region.
