• Michael Paul Riffe, 33, of Chapmanville, was arrested in Logan County by West Virginia State Police Trooper J.K. Harris for delivery of a controlled substance on March 5.
According to police reports, on March 4, the trooper conducted a traffic stop in the Chapmanville area.
"During the traffic stop, approximately one half pound of marijuana was discovered in the passenger compartment of the vehicle," the report states. "Further investigation revealed the operator of the vehicle had just purchased the marijuana from the accused, Michael Riffe, at the residence of the accused."
He was booked at the Southwestern Regional Jail at Holden at 6:20 p.m.
Riffe reportedly has a previous conviction for possession with intent to deliver marijuana on Sept. 6, 2006.
• Eric Dewey White, 23, of Delbarton, was arrested in Logan County by Patrolman Mark Dickerson of the Logan Police Department for possession of a controlled substance, driving on a revoked license and giving false information to police on March 9.
According to reports, Dickerson was on patrol when he saw a green Toyota Tacoma almost crash into the median wall on U.S. Route 119.
"This officer observed said vehicle weaving left almost strike the median wall and back across the center line," the report states, noting that when he pulled the driver over, White allegedly said he left his driver's license in Tennessee and that his name was Mark James White with an incorrect birth date and social security number.
"While speaking with the driver, this officer smelled the odor of burnt marijuana," the report states, adding that White was nervous and visibly shaking.
The report said White was "unsteady on his feet" when he got out of the vehicle and, when Dickerson searched the automobile, he found a cut straw with a white powder residue inside by the gear shift.
Also located in the vehicle was a small plate with a white powdery substance along with another cut straw under the passenger seat, the report said.
Dickerson then found a Tennessee ID card with the name of Eric Dewey White on it, "along with a marijuana roach."
Dickerson then found out White's license was revoked for two previous DUI charges.
He was booked at the regional jail at 2:15 a.m.
• Steven Lee Jeffrey, 38, residence not listed, was arrested in Boone County for possession of a controlled substance on March 25. He was booked at the regional jail at 7:29 p.m.
• Anita Marie Gibson, 29, residence not listed, was arrested in Logan County by the probation office for probation violation (prescription fraud) on Feb. 25. She was booked at the regional jail at 3:25 p.m.
• William David Sparks, 26, residence not listed, was arrested in Logan County for violation of his drug court agreement on March 9. He was booked at the regional jail at 4:50 p.m.
• Angela Gail Rankin, 28, residence not listed, was arrested in Logan County for violation of her drug court agreement on March 3. She was booked at the regional jail at 5:05 p.m.
• Joshua Craig Collins, 26, residence not listed, was arrested in Logan County for violation of his drug court agreement on March 2. He was booked at the regional jail at 11:30 p.m.
• Elena Marie McNeely, 28, residence not listed, was arrested in Logan County for violation of her drug court agreement on Feb. 26. She was booked at the regional jail at 10:30 a.m.
