According to Police Chief E.K. Harper, two men were reported to have gotten into some sort of altercation Monday afternoon when one of the individuals pulled out a handgun and fired off several rounds before fleeing.
Harper said his department has enough information for a warrant and has been looking for the suspect.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the Logan Police Department at 752-6535.
Harper's officers will be tasked to crack down on people parking illegally in town. Earlier this week the Logan PD was busy issuing citations to vehicles illegally parked in town for more than 14 days.
However they will also crack down on illegally parked vehicles in the Middleburg area following several complaints at Tuesday's city council meeting.
