Sedlock hits two homers, Chryssofos hits one in Lady Cats’ 12-2 win

CHARLESTON – Lara Sedlock hit two home runs and Katie Chryssofos went deep once as the Logan High School softball team rolled to a 12-2 win at George Washington on Thursday night.

Logan improved to 14-1 on the season and won its ninth straight game.

Sedlock was 3-for-4 with three RBI, while Chryssofos drove in three and was 2-for-5 at the plate.

Sommer Neace pitched a six-hitter for the Lady Cats and fanned 12 batters over seven innings.

Erica Kelley was 2-for-4 with an RBI for Logan.

Jessica Bias, Morgan Aguirre, Neace, Emily Vinson and Antonia Hill all singled. Vinson also had two RBI.

Logan only led 4-2 in the seventh before plating eight runs and breaking the game wide open.

Rachel Ward and Tori Wines had two hits each for the Patriots.

Logan returns to action today at the Cabell Midland Sluggerfest. The Lady Cats are scheduled to play Morgantown and Scott today and East Fairmont on Saturday.
