The Lady Tigers are on a roll after sweeping Scott and Sherman on Monday night in a home doubleheader.
Chapmanville downed Class AA sectional rival Scott, 5-4, in the opener, then beat Sherman, 7-4.
CRHS now stands at 14-8 on the season. Chapmanville was the runner-up to host Cabell Midland in the Sluggerfest tourney last weekend.
The Lady Tigers are now 3-0 this season against Scott. Chapmanville beat the Lady Hawks, 8-5, in eight innings last weekend in the quarterfinals of the Cabell Midland Sluggerfest, and also downed Scott, 6-3, on April 13 at Madison.
Alyssa Bailey hit the game-winning RBI single into right field in last night’s Scott game.
Haley McCann was 3-for-4 at the plate, while Bre Thomas was 2-for-4.
Allison Evans, Brandi Broom and Lauren Shumate added hits.
Evans was the winning pitcher. She allowed four runs and eight hits and struck out six in seven innings.
In the Sherman game, McCann was the winning pitcher. She gave up four runs and seven hits while fanning six and walking three.
Evans and McCann were each 3-for-4 to lead the Lady Tigers.
Broom, Jenna Evans and Thomas had one hit each.
Chapmanville plays at Wayne tonight and goes to county rival Logan on Wednesday.
