Noah Cottrill has already racked up a bunch of post-season awards.

The senior and WVU signee, who led the Logan High School basketball team to the Class AAA state championship in March, had already been named as the Bill Evans Award winner as the state’s best player.

Cottrill also earned the Gatorade State Player of the Year honors and was voted by the West Virginia Sports Writers as the captain of the Class AAA all-state team.

In addition, Cottrill was named to the Parade All-American Fourth-Team and was ranked as a top 40 player in the county.

And now comes this.

Cottrill’s national honors continue as he was recently named to the ESPN Rise All-American Second Team. The 6-foot-3 guard has also been rated in ESPN’s Fab 50 as one of the top players in the country.

The ESPN Rise First-Team consists of 20 of the best high school players in the nation — 18 seniors and two juniors. The Second-Team is made up of 30 players, putting Cottrill among the best 50 cagers in the country.

Cottrill averaged 29.2 points a game this season for Logan, made 101 3-pointers, hit 146-of-190 of his free throw attempts (76.8 percent) and also averaged 5.8 rebounds and 3.3 steals per contest.
