Shining Light United Baptist Church will have Pastor Appreciation for their pastor, Sherman Smith, this Sunday, May 2, beginning with the morning worship. Smith has been pastor at the church since June 1970. He has five children, Barry, Sherman “Butch”, Vickie, Brenda and Sandy. He is married to Minnie Tomblin Smith.
