DETROIT, Mich. — Mr. Lucian Dee Adams, 76, of Detroit, Mich., formerly of Harts, was born January 8, 1934, a son of the late Robert and Garnet Mullins Adams. He departed this life Saturday, May 15, 2010, in Detroit.

Also preceding him in death were two sons, Lucian Dee Adams Jr., and David Lee Adams; two sisters, Irene Click and Joann Fry, and two brothers, Billy Adams and Larry Gene Adams.

Survivors include his wife, Anna Ruth Adams; one son, Ronnie (Jackie) Adams; one daughter, Pamela (Ron) Pranger; one brother, Mitchell Adams; five sisters, Geraldine (Roy) Dempsey, Gail Moore, Peggy (Ervin) Morris, Loretta Wolf and Mary Lynn Bazilla; grandchildren, Danny, David (Kristie), Deanna (Adam), Jessica (Jimmy), Eddie (Daisy) and Lori; great-grandchildren, Eric, Katie, David, Gracie, Zach, Jason, Nathan, Zayra, Roxyana and Logan; two sisters-in-law, Sue Adams and Bertha Steele, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends…

Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, May 21, at the Evans Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Burial will follow in the Mullins Cemetery at Harts.

Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
