That’s when the annual Big Green Coaches’ Tour will be making a stop at the Logan Country Club in Chapmanville.
Supporters will have the opportunity to meet new football coach Doc Holliday, new basketball coach Tom Herrion and women’s basketball coach Royce Chadwick along with Director of Athletics Mike Hamrick.
There will also be a golf outing during the day as well as other events.
Other athletic department staff members along with Big Green Scholarship Foundation staff members are scheduled to attend the event.
The coaches’ tour will feature 18 stops, ending on July 13 at The Greenbrier.
At the Logan Country Club stop lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m.
The cost for the golf is $100 (includes lunch).
Registration is 10:30 a.m.
The shotgun start is at 1:30 p.m.
Holliday replaced Mark Snyder as the Marshall football coach. He is a former assistant at WVU, North Carolina State and Florida. He has never been a head coach.
Holliday, 53, was born in Hurricane, W.Va., and is a graduate of WVU. He was a three-year letterwinner and played linebacker for three seasons with the Mountaineer football team.
Herrion was the former head coach at the College of Charleston from 2002-06 and sported an 80-38 record in four seasons, including a 43-20 record in the Southern Conference. He is a former assistant coach at Merrimack, Cambridge, Providence, Virginia and Pittsburgh.
The 42-year-old Herrion was born in Oxford, Mass.
Logan High School graduate and former Marshall player Jim Davidson will also be honored at the event.
Davidson played on Logan’s 1964 Class AAA state championship team and went on to play for the Thundering Herd. He will be enshrined into the Marshall Hall of Fame this fall.
