There is no "Almost Heaven" in the Man area. But, there is a lot of Mountain Top Removal Mining.

Our County government has throwen the Man and Blair areas to the dogs.

Your area will surely be next.

This is so heartbreaking. I have family that live in South Man and the damage & destruction is beyond words they rec'd to their home, vehicle, lawn and in-ground swimming pool. It is unbelievable.

I do want to say that I was raised in the small community of South Man, of Logan County in West Virginia. It is a small town but we were given the beauty of very large hearts. I want to also express my appreciation for each and every person that has helped my sisters family "John & Mary Hale". Thank you from the bottom of my heart to each person that has contributed to helping. They have been so gracious in sending manpower, food, heavy equipment and many other things needed.

"Almost heaven West Virginia" still in my heart and soul....
