The West Virginia State Police has been busy making arrests on various charges recently.

Mashawna Monique Patton, 37, of Logan, was arrested in Logan County by West Virginia State Police Trooper T.D. Boggs on a warrant for petit larceny and credit card fraud on June 13. She was booked at the Southwestern Regional Jail at Holden at 9:35 p.m.

According to police reports, on May 22, the defendant allegedly stole a bank card from the victim and made several purchases at local stores including Walmart, Kroger, Rite-Aid and Exxon for the amount of $561.21."

The officer received video footage from Walmart and Kroger which shows Patton using the victim's card, the report states.

"This complaint is based on information given to the undersigned officer by the victim, bank statements, video footage along with the undersigned officer's observations regarding this incident."

• Alex Frank Miller, 28, residence not listed, was arrested in Logan County for failure to appear in court on May 20. He was booked at the regional jail at 5:05 p.m.

• Allison Piccirillo, 24, residence not listed, was arrested in Logan County by the West Virginia State Police for domestic assault and battery on May 17. She was booked at the regional jail at 4:50 p.m.

• Brian Eugene Jones, 30, residence not listed, was arrested in Logan County for domestic assault and domestic battery on May 17. He was booked at the regional jail at 4:50 p.m.
