HERNSHAW, W.Va. — Dewayne Gollihue, 51, of Hernshaw, formerly of Sarah Ann, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, June 26, 2010, at his residence.

Born September 27, 1958, at Logan, he was a son of the late Elmer and Zona Bragg Gollihue.

Dewayne was a coal miner and attended Lens Creek Baptist Church and Cornerstone Family Fellowship Church.

Survivors include his children, Dewayne and Amanda Gollihue II of Cross Lanes, and Jenny and Joey Spradlin of Louisa, Ky.; grandchildren, Bryson Gollihue and Abigail Spradlin; two brothers, Charles (Brenda) Gollihue of Cleveland, Ohio, and Larry (Susie) Gollihue of Sarah Ann; two sisters, Edna (Ronald) Damron of Lansing, Ill., and Charlene (John) Quick of Omar; his loving girlfriend, Debbie Bishop of Marmet, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 30, at the Collins Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Richard Belcher and Pastor Greg Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby.

Pallbearers will be Patrick Damron, Lee Damron, Tommy Quick, David Quick, Joe Quick, Larry “Pee Wee” Gollihue and Dennis Gollihue.

Visitation will be from 6-9 pm. today at the funeral home.

Collins Funeral Home of Switzer is in charge of the arrangements.
