We believe Mullins being the director is a perfect fit for the Chief Logan Rec Center and its members.
Mullins, who is a personal fitness trainer, brings to the Rec Center and wealth of knowledge of fitness and well-being. She has been involved in personal fitness for many years and even tried to get a fitness center built in Logan County back in 1996.
She's got her work cut out for her, though. Logan County has been named the unhealthiest county in the state and our county currently is No. 1 in the state for diabetes.
Mullins said she knows she's got a big job ahead of her, but she wants to make a difference.
We believe she can — and will.
Anyone who knows Mullins knows that she honestly wants to help people get healthy. She said this is her dream job and we are excited that she's the new director.
Mullins' ultimate goal is to help everyone in the coalfields get healthy. She said she wants to make Logan County the healthiest county in the state through her work at the Rec Center and we believe can accomplish that job.
