I fail to believe that members of unions would knowingly inflict undue hardships onto others, including their own adult children or grandchildren who area members of unions. any non union individual who is provided with the so called "Cadillac health care" plan, will get short changed on the health care deal, while forced to dish out more from their thinly stretched income.
Unfortunately, by biting the bait dangled by politicians who promised to delay the 40 percent excise tax on health plans which exceed $10,200 up to $27,500 in benefits until 2018 to only union members, others are already suffering the ill side effects
Obama made many promises, one being that health care premiums will be reduced. We now know that this is not true. The costs for both private insurance purchased by individuals and plans purchased by small employers have spiked.
It has also been reported, that the Obama administration has stated that they "have not ruled out turning sick people away from an insurance program created by the new healthcare law to provide coverage for the uninsured". The "high risk pool" for pre_existing conditions will burn through its funding and will have to reduce benefits and turn people away before 2014.
Medicare cuts? Obamacare may harm everyone, including the insured and the uninsured. While people may only envision doctors getting paid less, or fear doctors turning away Medicare only patients, the reality may cause mass retirements of long time family physicians. Also, too many hospitals and nursing homes are already understaffed and struggling, do you think they will be able to survive the Obamacare Medicare cuts?
Over half of the country was opposed to the giant bill and many major flaws and untruths have been exposed, in only a few months since it's passage.
This disaster of a bill, which dose nothing to reduce or contain health care costs, could not have been passed without union backing. It is not too late to reverse the damage and hopefully resuscitate the business world who are cowering from the hefty taxes and regulations imposed by the bill during this bad economy. Learn the truth, and please vote for candidates who promise to pull in the reins on Obamacare.

My husband retired from a non-union mine, and he always respected that company. In the 15 years he worked there, there was 1 fatality; a company man was killed fixing a piece of equipment outside the mine.
This teaches us not to paint everyone with the same brush....union mine or non-union mine.
If you work in an underground coal mine without Union representation you are in immediate danger of death or serious injury.

There is a consistent 60%, according to several polls, who want this overturned. But, with Obama still president, it cannot happen until at least 2012. Start this year, throw out any democrat who supported Obamacare, especially in the Logan area, throw Nick Rahall out, sooner the better. Then get ready to throw out the human wrecking ball, Mr. 6 Vacation per year while 15 million people are out of work, Barack Obama.
