Born October 7, 1926, he was a son of the late Monroe and Sarah Workman Workman.
Ermal was a former longtime employee of Baisden Brothers Hardware Store of Logan. When Ermal had the time he enjoyed attending Cincinnati Reds baseball games.
Survivors include his wife, Loretta Farra Frye Workman; one son, Titus (Harrietta) Workman of Roanoke Rapids, N.C.; one step-son, Kenneth David (Connie) Frye of Little River, S.C.; one step-daughter, Judith Lynn Frye Gore (fiancée, Alan Wilson) of North Myrtle Beach; two step-grandchildren, Charlotte Frye (Robert) Vance and Michael Sean (Nikki) Frye, both of Little River; five step-great-grandchildren, Kendi and Samantha Frye, and Draven Alexander, Alyssa Nicole and Sydney Ryan Frye, all of Little River, and one great-great-grandson, Rylin Otto Vance Carter of Little River.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 4, at the West Logan Church of God in West Logan with Rev. Randy Skeens officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at Honaker Funeral Home in Logan.
