I wanted to thank The Logan Banner for all of its coverage of this year’s production of The Aracoma Story-Spirits and Legends. If it wasn’t for the support of your newspaper, other agencies and organizations throughout the county and state this would not have been possible.
The show broke attendance records this season. This was not a single handed effort. It took the support of countless volunteers, cast and crew members, businesses and so many talented people who were willing to get behind me and this organization.
I also want to thank the members of the Aracoma Story board of directors who voted to give me this opportunity. My journey is over. I am not returning as director next year. Just like the Man in the final scene of the show, it’s time for me to pass the book along to someone else.
I thank the members of the Aracoma Story board of directors that trusted me with this show. I thank my wife, my son and family who were willing to share me these past two summers. I am grateful to my friends that helped me pull this off.
I hope that others will continue to support the show through the coming years. Thanks again.
