Born June 23, 1927, in Logan County, she was a daughter of the late Samuel Paul and Rosa Etta Jacobs Baker. Also preceding her in death was her sister, Dorothy “Dot” Meade, and brothers, James and Jack Baker.
Pauline retired from RCA in Indianapolis after 22 years of service. She had been a member of No. 20 Whitman Community Church.
Survivors include her son, Richard P. (Barbara) Tomblin of Indianapolis; brothers, Eddie Baker and Homer (Dicie) Baker, both of Logan; sisters, Hazel Helphinstine of Mooresville, Ind., and Joan Boyd of Pfafftown, N.C.; grandchildren, Darren Paul Tomblin of Indianapolis and Bridgette Graham of Artesia, N.M., and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, October 7, at the No. 20 Whitman Community Church with Rev. Joaquine Ooten officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby.
Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday at the James Funeral Home.
