SOUTH WILLIAMSON, Ky. — A three-vehicle accident involving a Logan County woman at South Williamson, Ky., resulted in one person being transported to a local hospital for treatment of injuries.

Angela Sosebee, of Hardy, Ky., was traveling on Rt. 292 in front of Thomas Body Shop when she said she had to swerve to avoid a car that had come into her lane.

Sosebee’s Ford Mustang struck an unoccupied and parked vehicle, a 2001 Silverado pickup truck belonging to William Prater of Edgarton, which was in the parking lot of Cash Express.

The truck, in turn, was pushed into a 2005 Mitsubishi Gallant, driven by Cathy McCoy of Sarah Ann.

McCoy was not hurt, but a passenger in her car, Desiline Hall, was transported to a local hospital by Appalachian First Response.

The accident is being investigated by Kentucky State Trooper Jimmy Nolte.

The crash happened just about an hour after a two-car crash in front of Dairy Queen in South Williamson that involved a Logan County woman.

Six people were transported to a hospital from that fender-bender.
