The children of the Central United Baptist Church, along with members of the Cub Scout Troop 51 and Pack 28 Webelos, presented a patriotic program honoring U.S. veterans, the military and the country's freedom on July 4. Larry Brammer lead a special memorial reading in dedication to Sp4 David Hiram Stamper, brother of Mrs. Debbie Evans, who was killed during the Vietnam War. Margaret Small preformed a solo “Let Freedom Ring” written by William and Gloria Gaither. The program was directed by Mrs. Karen Wooten and Mrs. Tammy Blankenship.
