Several arrested on drug, alcohol charges

Recent arraignments in Magistrate’s Court included:

• Joshua Michael Ellis, 25, of Kistler, was arrested and charged with domestic assault and domestic battery by West Virginia State Trooper B.K. Wellman on September 16. He was released on a $5,000 bond.

• Bradley Eugene Hager, 44, of Ranger, was arrested and charged with public intoxication and obstructing an officer on September 16 by Logan County Sheriff Deputies J. Miller, J. Brown and M. Carter. He was released on a $1,500 bond.

• Heather Marie Collins, 36, of Mt. Gay, was arrested and charged with child abuse and possession with intent to deliver on September 18 by WVSP Cpl. C.D. Kuhn, Tpr. P.A. Jones and Tpr. B.K. Wellman. She is being held on a $5,000 bail at the Southwestern Regional Jail.

• James Patrick Collins, 37, of Mt. Gay, was arrested and charged with child neglect resulting in injury and possession of a controlled substance, less than 15 grams on September 18 by WVSP Cpl. C.D. Kuhn, Tpr. P.A. Jones and Tpr. B.K. Wellman. He has been released on a $5,000 bond.

• James K. Nunley, 62, of Holden, was arrested and charged with driving revoked for DUI, failure to produce operators, failure to stop at Stop sign, and no seatbelt on September 18 by WVSP Tpr. R.E. Stowers. He has been released on a $3,500 bond.

• Travis Lee Pridemore, 38, of Chapmanville, was arrested and charged with possession of a Schedule II controlled substance x2, possession of a Schedule III controlled substance, drinking alcoholic liquor in a motor vehicle and driving without headlights on September 20 by WVSP Tpr. B.A. Lowe. He was released on a$2,500 bond.

• Norman David Vance, 31, of Delbarton, was arrested and charged with DUI 3rd offense, failure to obey traffic signal, left of center, failure to obey a traffic control device and no insurance on September 20 by WVSP Tprs. B.A. Lowe and M.A. Broadwater. He was released on a $3,500 bond.

• Billy Joe Swims, 37, of Chapmanville, was arrested and charged with unlawful wounding on September 21 by Chapmanville Police Department Cpl. N.A. Tucker. He was released on a $5,000 bond.
