Keep listening and I’ll tell you more. First, I will tell you about our education in America. This gives us the right to learn. We are able to go to any school we want. The right of education lets us pick a college or job. Next, I’m proud to be an American citizen because we have military to protect us. They fight for our freedom and stand up for our country. Lastly, America has freedom. It lets us choose who we marry, our education, and what church we go to. This gives us the right to live a happy life as a proud United States citizen.” — Keeley Duncan, 4th Grade, Miss Morgan

— “I’m proud to be a United States citizen because it has a variety of things that we can be thankful for. The United States has many natural resources such gas, coal, and oil. We also have freedom, choices, and opportunities. The United States also has social services and churches. Thank you veterans for protecting our country.” — Sarah Crosby, 4th Grade Mrs. Cobb

— “I am proud to be a United States citizen because we have free education through public schools and we are free to make our own choices. We have people who help us when we are sick. We are protected by our military. Our military dies for us, just to protect us. That is why I am glad and proud to be a United States citizen.” — Shania Kennedy, 4th Grade, Mrs. Mullins
