MORGANTOWN – A total of 5,289 West Virginia University students were named to the Dean’s and President’s lists following the 2012 Fall semester.

Out of these students, 1,685 were named to the President’s list after receiving a perfect 4.0 grade point averages. Those on the Dean’s list received a 3.5 GPA or higher.

A total of 3,986 students from West Virginia were on the lists. There are 65 students from outside the U.S., as well.

• Boone — Abigail Boyce, Whitney Browning, *Amelia Conaway, Hunter Lilly and *Carl Shaffer, all of Madison, Caraline Griffith of Peytona, Miranda Jeffery of Foster, Nathaniel Linville, *Zachary Paitsel, Kelsey Scott and Emily Shreve, all of Danville, Brittney Mullins of Uneeda, and Matthew Thomas of Bloomingrose.

• Lincoln — Cory Clay and Rachel Elkins, both of Hamlin, and *Justin Coburn of West Hamlin.

• Logan — Marsha Carter of Davin, *James Castle, *Makayla Gresham, *Conor Pyles, Rikki Smith and Alison Welty, all of Chapmanville, *Allison Cole of Holden, Krysta Kemp of Logan, *Jodi Mileto of Verdunville, Scottie Smith of Omar, and Jeremy Tipton of Kistler.

• Mingo — Christopher Atkins, Sharrell Barnes, Tyler Channell, *Taylor Elkins, *Erica Hatfield, *James Meade, Ryan Stacy and Nathan Ward, all of Williamson, Jon Bobbera, Quinn Miller, and Madalin Sammons, all of Gilbert, and Josh Wallace of Delbarton.
