West Virginia State Police responded to a burglary in progress at the Lakewood Apartments and found a woman standing in front of the apartment.
Heather Briona Vance, 32, of Huntington, admitted to the officers she had been inside the apartment. The officers found a back window screen had been pried open and they were able to obtain the statement of the victim’s daughter stating she saw the accused and an unknown male in the apartment.
Vance was charged with burglary and conspiracy. She was released under $3,000 bond.
