A Community Soup Kitchen is now being offered every Monday evening, from 5:30-7 p.m. to anyone who wants a free, healthy meal.

Sponsored by PRIDE and LEAD, the kitchen can be found at the PRIDE building on Stratton Street.

“If you know a senior citizen who may need a meal, but can’t make it here let us know,” said LEAD organizer Major Richard Ojeda. “We may be able to bring it to them.”

Limited local delivery service is available to senior citizens; participants would need to call the LEAD office at 304-896-8551, ask for Bea, to set that up.

For more info, or if interested in volunteering, contact LEAD Community Org. at 304-896-8551 or www.leadcommunityorg.com
