McCONNELL, W.Va. — Lena Immaculate Carrere Adkins, 93, of McConnell, widower of Millard “Crutch” Adkins, died Wednesday, March 6, 2013. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 16, at the First Baptist Church McConnell with the Rev. John E. Godby, Rev. Caudle Adkins, Rev. C.J. Adkins, Rev. Mike Manuel and Rev. Donnie Wells Officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Garden at Godby. Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Friday, March 15, at Honaker Funeral Home and one hour prior to services Saturday at the church. Honaker Funeral Home of Logan is in charge of arrangements.

BELLEVIEW, Fla. — Ruben Adkins, husband of Joan Adkins, of Belleview, Fla., died Sunday, March 10, 2013. Services will be held at noon Saturday, March 16, at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services at Belleview. Interment will be at Belleview Cemetery. MARCUM, Esther Moore — noon today at Mt. Hope Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. Johnny Taylor and Rev. Darrell Newsome officiating. Burial will follow at the Marcum Cemetery. Marcum, 81, of Lake, formerly of Laurel Creek, died Saturday, March 9, 2013. James Funeral Home of Aracoma is in charge of arrangements.

PLYMALE, Athena Shea — 6 p.m. today at Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home with Rev. Bryan C. Baker officiating. Her remains have been cremated. Plymale, 1, the daughter of Josh and Stevie Browning Plymale, died Saturday, March 9, 2013. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man.
