WILKESVILLE, Ohio — Wilbert Bailey Sr., 87, Wilkesville, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2013, surrounded by his family.

Born November 24, 1925, in Eccles, he was a son of the late French and Fannie Loving Bailey. Also preceding him in death were three sons, Michael, David and Ronald.

Survivors include the loving mother of his children, Maxine Bailey; six sons, Wilbert Jr. of New Lexington, Ohio, Gregory (Kristine), Phillip, Brian (Amy) and Bradley (Jenny), all of Wilkesville, and Jack (Jody) of Hollywood, Md.; one daughter, Barbara (Fred) Taylor of Wilkesville; two sisters, Opal Roberts of Mallory and Dorothy Morrison of Ashland, Ky. Mr. Bailey will also be missed by 14 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 16, at McCoy-Moore Funeral Home at Vinton, Ohio. Burial will be in Curry Cemetery in Vinton County, Ohio.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
